Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says Aaro Wan-Bissaka is back on the training pitch.
The former Crystal Palace right-back was last named on the bench for United’s Europa League opener against Real Sociedad but then showed up in the directors’ box just before kick-off.
However, Wan-Bissaka, who United spent £50 million on just three years ago, is now edging closer to a comeback as he looks to rejuvenate his stagnant career.
“Aaron Wan-Bissaka is back on the pitch, so that’s good news, because we need everyone,” Ten Hag told club media ahead of facing Chelsea in the Premier League.
“We have so many games to cover, so we need a big squad. You need that you can pick players, that you have choice. So I’m happy with that process.”
