Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford. Aurelien Tchouameni’s arrival at the Bernabeu has prompted Casemiro to consider his future at the club, for whom he has played since 2013.
The 30-year-old is apparently open to joining United and discussions over a transfer are taking place. A £60million fee has been mooted.
United have only made three first-team signings this summer, acquiring Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen and Tyrell Malacia. Ten Hag is desperate for more, and some reports suggest that some of the club’s senior players have even gone to the board to demand additions.
A forward is also on United’s agenda, especially if they eventually sell Cristiano Ronaldo. Ajax ace Antony and PSV star Cody Gakpo have both been linked with the Red Devils.
