Man Utd set sights on two new contracts as ‘head turned’

When they do return, Erik ten Hag’s men will want to continue their recent positive run of form, but City look to be a dangerous force, as usual.

United are now turning their attention to new contracts after the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have some business to take care of on the contract front, and according to 90min, Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot are first in line for new terms.

Both players are out of contract at the end of this season, and United don’t have any intentions of losing either.

Rashford, in particular, has started the season very well, and United won’t want him distracted by his expiring deal.

United also have David De Gea, Fred, Luke Shaw, and Cristiano Ronaldo out of contract next summer.

Toney prediction

United could turn Brentford striker Ivan Toney’s head should they make a move.

Toney has been excellent for Brentford, earning an England call-up for this international break.

Transfer expert Pete O’Rourke believes United could have a chance, too, telling GiveMeSport: “Ivan Toney, he’s worked wonders to get that call-up to the England squad.

“He’s been instrumental for Brentford since they came up to the Premier League last season, and the chance to move to a massive club like Manchester United, I’m sure, would turn his head. That’s pretty obvious, I think, for any player.”
