KALIDOU KOULIBALY has declared his future remains at Napoli to deal Manchester United a huge blow in their pursuit of the defender.
The 30-year-old centre-back has been linked with a move away from the Serie A side in the summer with his contract set to expire in 2023.
United reportedly failed in their attempt to lure the Senegal international away from Italy last summer before the club brought in Raphael Varane.
And according to Calciomercato, the Red Devils were looking to reignite their interest in the centre-back due to his contract situation.
But the player has insisted he is going nowhere as he pledged his loyalty to Luciano Spalletti’s side.
The ex-Genk star was greeted by supporters in Naples after helping Senegal win their first Africa Cup of Nations title.
And Koulibaly had a message for the fans who welcomed him back in Italy.
Quoted by Tutto Napoli, he said: “This welcome makes me very happy.

“But take it easy because I am not leaving, I am not leaving.
“I am back in Naples and I am calm. I thank everyone, I have seen all the videos and the things you did when I was not there.
“I am proud to be with you. Thank you all.”
Koulibaly, who has featured in 19 games in all competitions for Napoli this term, is expected to go straight back into the starting XI for Saturday’s clash against Inter.
Napoli go into the match at the Stadio San Paolo a point behind the league leaders.
