Erik ten Hag ‘really likes’ Chelsea attacking duo Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech with both players part of the Dutchman’s thinking head into the final stretch of the summer transfer window, according to reports. The Manchester United boss is hoping to welcome a whole host of new arrivals before the September 1 deadline with the Red Devils said to be targeting up to four new arrivals in addition to Casemiro.
The Brazil international said his goodbyes at Real Madrid on Friday after training with his team-mates for the final time.
United have now confirmed they have reached an agreement for the 30-year-old defensive anchor, who will become the club’s fourth summer acquisition after Tyrell Malaca, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.
According to Goal, United are now set to target another forward, central midfielder, goalkeeper and right-back if Aaron Wan-Bissaka heads back to Crystal Palace or alternatively, elsewhere.
Two of the names of United’s radar are Chelsea double act Pulisic and Ziyech, who are both facing uncertain futures in west London.

It’s understood United are conducting an open-minded search in their pursuit of a new attacker.
The Red Devils are believed to be monitoring both wide forwards and strikers as they look to add some additional firepower in the final third.
United made a shock move for Marko Arnautovic earlier this month before later deciding to abandon their pursuit of the Austrian frontman.
Since then, United have been linked with three Atletico Madrid stars in the form of Alvaro Morata, Joao Felix and Matheus Cunha.
None of those are deemed attainable though with United now seemingly exploring other targets.
One of which is Ajax ace Antony who was the subject of a rejected £67m bid on Thursday.
A fresh, improved offer is not yet being ruled out but PSV Eindhoven’s Cody Gakpo appears to be the alternative name in focus.
There could also be several outings at Old Trafford with Amad (most likely loan) and Eric Bailly both edging closer to the exit door.
