Marc Skinner looks ahead to Man Utd Women v West Ham 30 April 2022

A goalless draw away to Aston Villa last time out has taken the destiny of this season’s European qualification out of our own hands, with the Reds now outside of the all-important top-three places in the WSL table, two points behind Manchester City following the Blues’ victory over Brighton in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Having now played the same amount of matches in the 2021/22 competition as our neighbours, Skinner says United are simply focused on doing as much as we can do in our remaining outings, at home to West Ham on Sunday and then away to Chelsea on the final day of the campaign in a week’s time.

“We have to go and give absolutely everything to these last two games, there’s no doubt about that,” the boss asserted.

“If we can come away with two positive results in these last two games, we’ve done all we can to progress and then next year looks really bright.”
