Liverpool making Carvalho progress
Liverpool are shaping up a deal to prise Fulham ace Carvalho, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Reds sporting director Michael Edwards, a specialist in knocking down prices of top players, has taken up a keen role in the operation.
According to The Athletic, the club are monitoring the situation closely and are priming for a late bid for the Cottagers youngster before the end of the transfer window.
However, what appears more likely is that the Anfield outfit will be head of the queue in the summer and land the attacking midfielder for nothing – when his contract expires.
It outs the ball in Fulham’s court over whether to cash in now or lose the 19-year-old for free.
