Lewandowski and Depay swap
Robert Lewandowski is on his way out of Bayern Munich – but Barcelona may have to do some hard bargaining to land the prolific Polish centre-forward.
The Catalan giants, operating within a financial straitjacket, have told the German champions they cannot pay more than £32 million for the 33-year-old, who has scored a remarkable 56 goals for club and country this season.
But according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona may be prepared to throw in Dutch striker Memphis Depay, who only moved to the Nou Camp last summer, as a makeweight in any deal.
Meanwhile, Bayern are leading the race to sign Barcelona misfit Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer. French paper L’Equipe say Bayern will offer him a four-year deal worth £16 million-a-year.
