Juventus are reportedly ready to go head-to-head with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United for Ajax star Antony, who looks set for a big-money move this summer.

According to CalcioMercato, the European giants are eager to win the race for the Brazilian attacker, with United, Bayern Munich and PSG also chasing Antony, with 90min claiming that Liverpool are also in contention for the winger.

As reported by Sky Germany, Ajax value the 22-year-old at €50m (£42m), and Juventus’ interest in Antony could throw a spanner in the works for the likes of Liverpool and United.

Both Premier League sides are expected to sign a forward this summer, and Antony could have been an ideal option given his record with Ajax and his obvious potential, though interest from UEFA Champions League rivals Juventus could cause some issues.

The Serie A giants are seeking a long-term replacement for Paulo Dybala as well as a potential successor to Federico Bernardeschi, who is reportedly ready to leave Juventus this summer, opening a door for Antony.

Indeed, Antony is well suited to the Premier League, with the winger being hailed as a ‘super talent’ by scout Pier de Visser, yet with Juventus potentially willing to offer the youngster regular football, Liverpool and United could struggle to sign the Ajax star this summer.

With huge changes happening at Ajax this summer in terms of the coaching and playing staff, Antony departing Amsterdam could be one of the biggest moves of the window, and Juventus is, on paper, the most alluring option for the winger.

Of course, Liverpool and United are much bigger clubs than the Serie A side, but Antony will likely be nothing but a squad player should he head to England, whereas the forward could become a star in Turin with Juventus.
